Getting What YOU Want

These days, almost everyone I know is concerned with money and with financial issues.

Yes, we're spiritual beings, but we also have a body, and taking care of your physical requirements is important too. Because of this, I thought now would be a good time to post my following thoughts on this topic that the angels shared with me in 2006.

 Getting What YOU Want by ZARA  ANGEL

Angels reveal that a major step in accomplishing your worthwhile goals is to ask Spirit for assistance. “Ask and ye shall receive…” But before you can ask for what you want, you’ve got to know what you want first.

So right now, imagine… What is it that you really want? Is it a wonderful relationship, a great job, a comfortable lifestyle, a strong feeling of purpose? You need to identify it if you want to receive it.

Chances are you have at least some idea of what you want, but it helps if you can be specific. Angels want to bring you what you want, but they can’t unless you know exactly what you want so that they know what to bring you.

I am a Psychic Angel-Reader/Life Coach, and as such I assist people in obtaining their goals, many of which relate to finances and prosperity. While working with clients, angels have revealed to me that they want to help make our worthwhile desires come true, and they will do that if we take the time to know what we want, and then ask.

But how can you get clear about your desires if you aren’t already? The first step is to take the time to daydream, and pay attention to the desires that surface. By doing this, you are allowing your subconscious to help you determine your goals.

After you spend time positively daydreaming, allowing your mind to wander, write down the thoughts that come to mind. At first, don’t edit. Just write. You may be surprised at the elevated goals that come to mind, but don’t be afraid of them. Chances are, even if the achievement of these goals seems impossible, over time, with the angels’ help, these goals may be yours.

There was a time in my life when being as successful as I now am would have seemed impossible. Strapped by circumstances and difficult roadblocks, I came close to believing that my life would be endlessly frustrating, and that I would always fail to get what I actually wanted no matter how hard I tried. The thing that saved me from continuing in this vein was my willingness to daydream, resulting in knowing and asking the angels for what I wanted. Then the angels were quickly able to help me manifest many of my wonderful dreams, and many more incredible dreams are still in the process of materializing right before my eyes today.

The second step in getting what you really want is to be grateful for what you already have. This is a necessary step.

“But,” you may ask, “what if everything in my life is totally frustrating? What if I really don’t like the way my life is and I can’t believe it could change? What then?”

Then, you’ve got to change your attitude. Before the angels can bring you more blessings than you currently have, you’ve got to notice the blessings they’ve brought you already, and you need to be thankful. Through your sincere thankfulness, you open up an avenue for more blessings and greater dream-fulfillment.

Beauty and blessings are all around. Angelic blessings of many kinds are brought to you each day. When you begin to notice this, and to consciously be grateful for what is already there, you open your heart, you relax, and become better at receiving. Then the angels are able to pour blessings into your life, and into your heart, and you will not only get what you asked for, you will find greater peace within.

After deciding what you want to manifest in your life, take the time to write down your goals. State your goals in detail so that YOU, THE ANGELS and YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS get a clear picture of what you want and where you want to go with your life. With this succinct, clear picture, you now have a destination.

Remember, the goal can be anything worthwhile...anything from getting your bills paid-off, to getting into a successful relationship, to getting a college degree, or to reaching the top in the field of your choice. No matter what your worthwhile goal, realize that the angels will help you manifest this goal if you ask them to help, and allow them to assist.

After you have your goal clearly established, it is time to go backwards, step by step, and figure out the logical steps it will take for you to achieve your goal and write these steps down.

For example, if you want to write a magazine article or a book, think about the steps you might take to achieve your goal.

This might mean that you read other people's books and articles on your chosen topic so you get an idea of what other people are saying on the subject.

It might mean that you study vocabulary building so that you expand the tools you need for the writing you intend to begin.

It might mean that you begin to practice right away, and have trusted family members and friends review your work--people that you know will give positive suggestions and feedback--being careful not to show your work to anyone who is negative and/or destructive in intent.

Be certain to take the steps backward from your goal all the way to today. When you reach today, think of something you can do now—something that will bring you one step closer to achieving your goal, then continue the steps you outline day by day until the successful realization of your goal has been achieved.

Remember, all of our lives are composed of years, months, and days, and each of us can only live one day at a time. So, realizing this, it is important to go toward your goal one day at a time, thinking about, planning, and working toward your goal step by step, pacing yourself wisely, and having faith that with each step you take, and with the help of angels, you are getting that much closer to manifesting your goal.
